Examples of Commercial Projects
Portable Appliance Testing

Whilst landlords and premises owners are responsible for the safety of wiring within a building, the safety of appliances used in a Commercial premises is  the responsibility of the tenant or employer who should have a system for inspecting and testing portable equipment they provide for use e.g. kettles, Computer Equipment, Fridges etc. This is often referred to as PAT Testing (Portable Appliance Test) and is a requirement of Health and Safety legislation. Testing should normally be carried out annually for most portable appliances and suitable records of the tests be kept.
