Gressenhall Rural Life Museum

This £27,000 installation was carried out in conjunction with NPS Property Consultants Ltd on behalf of Norfolk County Council Cultural Services. This time critical project involved the replacement of the main MCCB panels which were carried out during a weekend.

Wensum Valley Services successfully co-ordinated the shut down and reinstatement of the incoming electrical supplies as well as maintain temporary power to the intruder alarm, fire detection system and essential refrigeration equipment. 12 distribution boards were also replaced and remedial works carried out to the remaining distribution equipment and some final circuits. Over 100 light fittings were also replaced in numerous buildings. Managing Director, Roger Atterwill said “We are very proud to have been asked to carry out this essential work on one of Norfolk’s top tourist attractions”.
